RCB full squad for IPL 2024- The IPL 2024 auction is scheduled on 19 December 2023 and the teams have already released the list of their players retained as well as released. 2 players have been traded in the RCB squad, Cameron Green from Mumbai Indians (MI), Mayank Dagar from Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).
Reece Topley’s participation in the top cricket competition is once again in peril due to his ongoing struggle with injury. This news comes as a significant blow not only to the Multan Sultans but also to the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), who had retained Reece Topley for the IPL 2024 season .Topley’s absence from IPL 2023 was due to shoulder dislocation.
In the IPL auction, RCB took Topley to their team for 1.9 Crore. Virat Kohli had planned to build a team keeping him in mind. Topley played for this team in IPL. But due to injury, he may not be available. Although there is still time for the IPL to start. Before that, RCB will keep an eye on whether Topley can recover or not.
It is known that the England and Wales Cricket Board did not allow Topley to play in the Pakistan Super League due to injury. They don’t want to take any risk with Topley as T20 World Cup is in June this year.
Topley played 12 matches for Durban Super Giants in South Africa T20 League. He is the joint second-highest wicket-taker in the South Africa T20 League with 13 wickets.
