PSL 2024, Rashid Khan, an all-round spin bowler for Afghanistan, has had a back issue for a while. As a result, he deleted his identity from the SA-T20 in South Africa. Couldn’t play in India tour for Afghanistan. This leg spinner has decided not to participate in the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2024).
Rashid had back surgery following the World Cup in India. This famous leg-spinner hasn’t been on the field since the World Cup for that reason.
He withdrawn his name from the Big Bash, SA-T20, and PSL. Rashid Khan was meant to be a member of the Adelaide Strikers. He was supposed to play for the Adelaide Strikers.
After the surgery, Rashid Khan was not completely fit, leg spinner has decided not to participate in the Pakistan Super League, thus he withdrew from the PSL. Rashid Khan was signed as a silver category player by Lahore Qalandars prior to the draft, in spite of reservations.
Rashid claimed 20 wickets in 11 games during the 2023 season, after taking 13 wickets in 9 games in 2022. Following such an accomplishment, Lahore decided to keep him on.
Rashid Khan is likely to play for IPL’s Gujarat Titans in March.
Ireland and Afghanistan will begin their series on February 28. In the series that concludes on March 18, they are expected to play one Test, three ODIs, and a T20I.
