India's Likely playing XI For 2nd Test vs England

India’s Likely playing XI For 2nd Test vs England, India’s first test match with England in Hyderabad ended in defeat. Another shock to Rohit’s team Cricketer Ravindra Jadeja will not be able to play in the second test due to hamstring injury.

In the second innings of the first test, Jadeja was run out. Ben Stokes is directly hit by Jadeja’s running side. Stokes’ direct throw forced the Indian all-rounder to come back. Ravindra Jadeja is seen clutching his left leg after exiting. He was said to be suffering from a hamstring strain. The team is yet to reveal the extent of Jadeja’s injury.
Coach Rahul Dravid also avoided that question in the press conference after the match. Rahul Dravid said, “To be honest, I haven’t spoken to the physio yet. I will go back and talk. Only then will I understand how serious Jadeja’s injury is.”

In Hyderabad, Jadeja scored 87 runs in the opening session. Besides, he picked up five wickets in just two innings. Ravindra Jadeja is indispensable to Rohit both in bat-ball and fielding. The second test will begin on February 2 in Visakhapatnam. Before that let’s see if Jadeja can be good.
If Ravindra Jadeja is not able to participate in this Test match, Indian team’s leg-spinner Kuldeep may be given a chance.

After losing the first test match of IND vs ENG test series, there are murmurs in the Indian camp.
In white-ball cricket, many young batsmen have proven themselves, but in Test cricket, the did not prove. Many of the players are quite young, in that they may not have much opportunity to play first-class cricket due to their heavy involvement in white-ball cricket.
Indian batters have been having difficulty lately, this is particularly true of players like Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer, who have often failed to create an impression.
Also, the batting appears a little unsteady with Virat Kohli absent of two Tests.

India might alter their starting eleven for the second Test. As a replacement for Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar was drafted into the team and might take Shubman Gill’s spot at bat.
Shubman Gill scored 23 runs in the first innings but had to return empty-handed in the second innings. He failed to bat from the South Africa Test series. Gill may be dropped in the second Test of IND vs ENG test series.

In unofficial Test matches against the England Lions, Rajat Patidar made two century for India A. Even though Shreyas Iyer hasn’t played well, his spin game is strong. However, Shreyas has recently failed with the bat in last three Test matches. However, if Virat Kohli comes into the team after the two test match, Shreyas Iyer may be dropped.

KL Rahul will not be keeping wickets during the series against England, according to Rahul Dravid, which implies KS Bharat will continue to maintain wickets in the second test also. Although there are appeals for Kuldeep Yadav to be included in the starting XI for second test, India should stick with their spin three since Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin and Axar Patel give their batsmen more depth.
Jadeja may not play in the 2nd Test due to his hamstring injury. Therefore India may get by with Kuldeep Yadav starting on February 2 in the second test against England in Visakhapatnam.
