During the 2020 season, he also scored 928 runs in six games. He had a tri hundred as well. In first-class cricket, his average stands at 69.6. got 14 centuries and 11 half-centuries. Sarfraz scored nearly 1700 runs in List A and T20. Sarfraz scored 982 and 928 runs in 2019-20 and 2022 Ranji seasons respectively.
But for a very long time, Sarfraz Khan was ignored by the Indian squad.
The Indian lineup for the second Test also featured all-rounders Saurabh Kumar and Washington Sundar. Saurabh from Uttar Pradesh has been selected to replace Jadeja. Saurabh Kumar is a left-handed all-round player as well. Similar to Sarfraz, he was given his first opportunity to play for the Indian squad. Shahbaz Ahmed of Bengal was not taken into consideration due to an injury. On the other hand, Washington is no stranger to international cricket.
Indian board sources claim that Ajinkya Rahane and veteran Cheteshwar Pujara have not been given any thought.
In 68 first-class matches, Saurabh Kumar the bowling all-rounder from Uttar Pradesh has claimed 290 wickets. Having four wickets, Saurabh Kumar got 15 times. 22 times, he claimed five wickets. Saurabh has eight times taken ten wickets.
