Axar patel is acting as a worthy successor to Jadeja, he was dismissed by Shoaib Bashir today after scoring 27 runs. KS Bharat failed with the bat and was out for 17 runs.
At the end of IND vs ENG Second Test Day-1, Jaiswal was unbeaten on 179 runs and Ashwin was unbeaten on five (5) runs.
At the end of the first day, India lost six wickets for 336 runs.
