Ravichandran Ashwin’s 100th Test Match Milestone- The 4th match of the five-match Test series between the Indian and England will be held in Ranchi from February 23.
Indian veteran spin bowler Ashwin this match and 7th march is going to be very special.
Because if he plays the Test match on February 23, it will be his 99th Test match and if he plays the match on March 7, he will become the 14th Indian player to play the 100th Test match.

37-year-old India’s Ace Spinner Ashwin has so far taken 501 wickets in 185 innings of 98 Tests in Test match. Second Indian bowler to take 500 wickets. Earlier, the record of 500 wickets among Indians in Test cricket was held by former spinner Anil Kumble. Kumble took 619 wickets in Test cricket.

Thirteen members of India’s cricket team have appeared in 100 or more Test matches thus far. The Dharamshala Test will see an increase in this figure. Due to R Ashwin’s participation in the Rajkot Test. It will be his 99th Test match if he is able to participate in the Ranchi Test after that. Moreover, Ashwin will play his 100th Test match in Dharamshala.

India ranks third among players in the world of cricket who have participated in 100 international Test matches.

Meanwhile England captain Ben Stokes is playing his 100th Test match in Rajkot. So England is ahead in the list of cricketers who have played 100 and more Tests. A total of 16 English cricketers have played 100 and more Test matches.
New Zealand’s Tim Southee, Kane Williamson and India’s R Ashwin will become three players who will play 100 Test matches in March.
