ICC World Test Championship 2023-2025 Points Table Update

A significant revision has been made to the World Test Championship points table. After defeating South Africa twice in a row, New Zealand moved to the top. Proteas suffers two straight losses. India’s victory over England has also added to their point total. In the points table, Bangladesh has improved even though they haven’t played recently.

India team upset England in Rajkot. Won the third test by 434 runs. 2-1 lead in the series. India has also moved up one step in the points table of the World Test Championship. Rohit Sharma’s India team is now placed second.

On the other hand, India dropped from two to five after losing the first Test to England.
With decisive victories in the next two Test matches of the series, India took the lead again. In the third cycle of the World Test Championship, India emerged victorious in 4 out of 7 matches. India has 50 points, or 59.52 percent of the total.

In the current Test Championship cycle, New Zealand has participated in four games and won three of them.The remaining one match was lost. After four matches, their points are 36, the percentage of points is 75.0.
Australia has dropped from the top to third. Their points are 66. The percentage of points is 55.00.
Bangladesh has risen from five to four with 50 percent points with one win and one loss.

Pakistan’s points percentage at number five is 36.66. Their points are 22.
West Indies have played four Test matches with two losses and one draw and are sixth in the points table with 16 points after winning the last matches with Australia.
South Africa have won one match and lost one match at home against India in their last four matches and South Africa have lost two matches against New Zealand while traveling to New Zealand. South Africa are currently seventh in the points table with 12 points.

England have played five matches out of which they have drawn one and won two and lost two consecutive matches against India to finish eighth in the points table in the World Cup Test Championship.
